Ballerina Jocelyn

See her videos here.
Christine's classmate Tyler clamps on her wrist so that Christine can be her "baby sister". Apparently, you can see how my Christine feels about it.

She is ready. Her favorite is probably the slide. For the last month or so, she had a taste of the slides perhaps once or twice a week in the morning while Boy Boy was being dropped off. This morning, Christine had all-you-can-play actions on the slide
Listening intensely to his supervisor...
Austin really has become a little man now

Clean Your Room please...
Happy Birthday to Austin!
Our own version of Oscar the rubbish monster. She gets really messy when she eats.

Last week was a tough one for all of us. Christine was the first one who first came down with a 104º fever two Saturday mornings ago. She was burning up bad but was otherwise very happy, albeit a bit sweaty. At around 10:30am on the following Wednesday, Ms. Faith from Alexander's school called da da on the phone to inform him that Boy Boy was carrying a very high fever. Da Da dropped everything at the office and sprinted straight towards the school. Alexander was indeed very warm and quite lethargic. Ma Ma stayed home to look after Alexander on the following Thursday and again on Friday since it was Admission Day in Hawaii, meaning there was no school. As the weekend approaches, Ma Ma got sick first and then Da Da came down with high fevers and body aches all over his body on Friday. Saturday, or yesterday, was an unusual stay-home weekend day for the entire clan.
On the bright side, when we drove out to get some MacDonald's Happy Meals for Solar and his sister, they were so good and held each other's hands like we've always wanted them to. In a couple of weeks, mui mui will begin pre-school too and so it would be good to instill a sense of "looking after each othter" into both of them.
Spaceship fabrication by none other than Peter FODY (father-of -da-year) Leung. Of course, Mabel has already been stressed out and probably passing out somewhere in the background.

Unfortunately, his wishes for extra TV, extra candies, extra bagels, extra Thomas trains, ... cannot always be granted.

No one knows who taught Christine to eat only the fleshy part of the apple. Watch the video below showing how she tries to scrape out the flesh from the skin, especially the close-ups on the last 10 seconds or so.

Alexander is wearing his one and only one Aloha shirt. It is also known as his May Day shirt since he put that on during his May Day performance in school. He was really excited this morning to wear the May Day shirt.
We had her sat down on her couch and reading a book, but she was not exactly cooperating with the camera.
This is the unsuccessful blury ¾ wardrobe pic because she was rushing towards da da to check out the camera.
Another rainbow-filled afternoon here in the Aloha Land. It's a sign of God's promise that He will never harm us again. Amen.
This is Jocelyn and her mom 阿 Fe 姑姑. Alexander can certainly learn "something" from his 表妹

"Are we done shopping yet? Can we go get some lunch now, da da?" Alexander held up the bees as a pliable background prop
Mom was apparently more "cheese-ready" than Christine
French Fries? What is that? She only knows fries as 薯條
Finga' Licking Deliciousa Gooda!
(Our new camera amazingly focused on the chicken finger on its own)

Look at the following. See how former mechanical engineer Andrew allowed two 30 lbs weaklings to act as stoppers beneath a rolling 200 lb+ mass? This photo was shot by none other than the engineer himself. Can those two young men really stop me from rolling off gradient if I lost my footings?
Another ingenious solution. Andrew sacrificed himself as a stopper hopefully to be able to hold off one of the 30 lb toddler. See how he masterfully repositioned the toddler in the hat with a strap and floppy bills off the probable line of motion from the rolling 200 lb+ high-danger mass on the up-side and the poor 30 lb stopper in the baseball cap? In addition, the adults in the photo squatted down to lower the CG and, if necessary, would deploye their rear-ends as friction-stoppers. This snapshot was taken by a real civil engineer walking with us patiently to make sure we didn't fall off the mountains.
Shall we go hiking again? Ask Boy Boy and he will certainly nodd (as he seldom talks). Just need to work on some mountain safety engineering issues. See the rest of the hiking pics here.
See the kid with long pants, fisherman hat, and blue sneakers? See his mom and the cake-that-he-didn't-eat below. I never thought about it but hey, "what happened to the cake?"
