Mountain Engineering

Look at the following. See how former mechanical engineer Andrew allowed two 30 lbs weaklings to act as stoppers beneath a rolling 200 lb+ mass? This photo was shot by none other than the engineer himself. Can those two young men really stop me from rolling off gradient if I lost my footings?

Another ingenious solution. Andrew sacrificed himself as a stopper hopefully to be able to hold off one of the 30 lb toddler. See how he masterfully repositioned the toddler in the hat with a strap and floppy bills off the probable line of motion from the rolling 200 lb+ high-danger mass on the up-side and the poor 30 lb stopper in the baseball cap? In addition, the adults in the photo squatted down to lower the CG and, if necessary, would deploye their rear-ends as friction-stoppers. This snapshot was taken by a real civil engineer walking with us patiently to make sure we didn't fall off the mountains.

Shall we go hiking again? Ask Boy Boy and he will certainly nodd (as he seldom talks). Just need to work on some mountain safety engineering issues. See the rest of the hiking pics here.

See the kid with long pants, fisherman hat, and blue sneakers? See his mom and the cake-that-he-didn't-eat below. I never thought about it but hey, "what happened to the cake?"
