Dropping off
It's Monday again. Dropping Solar off at the Olivet preschool is one of the most difficult for me to do. This morning, once I said goodbye and gave him a kiss, he dashed out to the playground and climbed up to the top of the slides again. He stationed himself at the highest vantage point that he could get to in order to watch me driving away. I lowered the passenger window to wave at him, and he waved back with his unique "fingers-only" wave.
He was not smiling.
